A Happier New Year for 2009??

If I look back to a year gone by, I can honestly say it was not a bad year.

Of course it started off with a big move around the world and if that wasn't enough, financially business could not have been worse.

Looking forward, I see more struggles and challenges on the horizon. Singapore will be facing more struggles and challenges. Las Vegas will be facing more struggles as well.

Does Happiness go hand in hand with struggles and challenges? I never heard of anyone say " I am so happy because I have so many issues" The average onlooker would shoot a quick glance and move quickly away, as thought of 'what is that guy smoking anyways?'

So to save anyone the trouble of reading the rest of this blog, I'd have to say that with all the struggles and challenges I currently have and for the ones that are on the horizon, I AM HAPPIER BECAUSE I HAVE SO MANY ISSUES.

Okay I gave those who wanted to leave the chance so if your still reading, You must have issues as well. ;)

Of course we all have issues but how do we approach them is the key to our happiness. If we wake up dreading our problems or avoiding them, The stress that will follow can only lead to either illness or baldness or both. Okay I don't believe all baldness comes from stress but when you stop pulling your hair out then stress is the culprit. Illness is another topic all together.

So as I sat thinking about my past year and the things I have experienced, I am really blessed. So how can I not be happy? I am so happy because I am so blessed.

I am thankful for all my problems and my struggles because to have problems is a blessing. We can never get away from those things that are in our life to help us become better people.

So a Big shout out to 2009, "Bring IT ON because (say it with me), what doesn't kill me only makes me stronger". Or is it only wounds me slightly ( i will look it up later but just go with it for now)?

Any New Year's Resolution for me?

I have decided not to make any Resolution until June. I figure if I wait until then I won't be disappointed by gaining a few more pounds but I will be focused. Or maybe my resolution is like so many people should have--- "no more resolutions"

So I wish everyone out there a very good, healthy, joyful, exciting, safe, prosperous new year.

I pray the World finds a little more peace, a little more patience, and a lot more common sense.
